Life has been rough this week. Mel’s grandma is in the hospital again.
Mel’s grandma went in to the hospital a week before Christmas with aseptic meningitis and shingles and was released earlier this week. She also was diagnosed with acute atrial fibrillation, a new problem. Yesterday, she was unresponsive to pain and light, and was taken by paramedics back to the hospital. At the hospital, she quickly became responsive, insisting that she needed a ham sandwich (which she was given). However, her vitals were a bit unstable with a very low blood pressure.
She was admitted fairly quickly and given a room in the ICU, where she is now. Keep her in your prayers, and let’s hope that the doctors can figure out what is going on!
